On Friday, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar called upon Turkey to have a proper understanding of the situation in Kashmir. Turkey had criticised India over the situation in Kashmir. Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad too had raised the J&K issue in the United Nations alleging that Indian “invaded and occupied” J&K and asked India-Pak to work together for a solution.
