Further delay in deliveries of Tejas Mark-1A fighters to IAF

The Indian Air Force, facing a shortage of fighter squadrons, will experience further delays in receiving the indigenous Tejas Mark-1A jets. Originally scheduled for delivery by March 31, these jets will now be ready by September. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is behind schedule, affecting the subsequent delivery targets set for 2024-25 under a 2021 contract.
