Explosions in Lebanon on September 17 and 18, 2024, led to the deaths of 12 people and injuries to over 2,700. The attacks targeted Hezbollah members using detonated pagers and walkie-talkies. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied involvement, though reports suggest an Israeli operation. Hezbollah’s leader had advised against cellphone use due to surveillance risks.
