On Monday evening, Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh hosted a private meet-and-greet event to introduce their daughter Dua to the paparazzi. While pictures of the couple from the event went viral, no images of their daughter were shared. So what really happened at the event?
Paparazzo Pallav Paliwal, who was in attendance, shared details of what happened at the gathering.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, he revealed, “When we arrived, Deepika and Ranveer greeted us. Later, Deepika went inside and brought baby Dua in her arms. Dua clung to her mother throughout. She was dressed in a simple white dress.”
“They asked us to keep the noise down as Dua had just woken up from her nap. Deepika later took Dua back inside,” he added.
After they introduced their daughter to everyone, the couple also arranged for meals for everyone at the venue as a thoughtful gesture.
“They stayed with us the whole time. Ranveer even distributed Sindhi sweets that he loves. He instructed the catering team to serve them properly after heating. They also gave sweets for our families,” the paparazzo further added.
What was the policy for cameras and phones at the event? Well, they were strictly banned, for obvious reasons. Ranveer and Deepika took photos with the guests only from their own phones, making sure that their daughter’s privacy wasn’t compromised.
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had done something similar when their daughter Raha was born. In 2022, the couple had hosted a high-tea for the paparazzi, requesting them to respect Raha’s privacy.
