NEW DELHI: The Centre has named 17 Pakistanis who trained Mohammad Naveed in three different terror training courses in Pakistan since 2011 and 12 Pakistani terrorists who were trained along with him in a 39-page dossier which was to be handed over National Security Adviser Ajit Doval to his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz during the NSAlevel talks that was called off. The dossier ET accessed mentions a mobile number of Zong service provider used by Naveed in Pakistan. The Centre is now seeking US help to procure call detail records of this number to give further proof that Naveed is a Pakistani national. Against Pakistan’s claim that Naveed does not figure in its national database, India’s dossier says an identity card was issued to Naveed by the National Database and Registration Authority of Pakistan in 2014. “Naveed claims to have lost the card,” the Indian dossier says, giving details of his family and even mentioning names of his three neigbours at Rafiq Colony in Faisalabad. Besides names and phone numbers of his parents and three siblings, the dossier also names three of Naveed’s uncles with their addresses and names of all his 27 cousins in Pakistan as well as names of his four close friends — Tanveer, Afridi, Qasim and Shahad. India’s agencies also hacked into the Facebook account of Naveed’s cousin Taheer to get photographs of some of his family members. These details will now be shared with Pakistan through a Letter Rogatory, asking for further investigation on Pakistan soil. The dossier also carried pictures of a red motorcycle used by Naveed’s elder brother Mohammad Nadeem, of a signage situated close to his materal uncle Mohammad Ali’s house in Kotha Shah Bhalol in Pakistan and a picture of LeT mastermind Hafiz Saeed delivering a lecture at Minar-e-Pakistan in December 2014, where Naveed was posted on perimeter duty. The government has apparently procured these photographs through its sources and claims they have been identified by Naveed. Twenty-four pages of the 39-page dossier are devoted to these photographs and Google maps locations of Naveed’s residence, his relatives houses and the 3 terror camps in Pakistan till May 2015. Naveed has identified the locations. The camps include Halen Det Mosque in Forward Kathua, PoK from where Naveed was launched into India along with three other terrorists on May 27. India has also named one 40-year-old Maulvi Bashir of Jamil Park in Ghulam Mohammad Abad who “motivated” Naveed to join LeT and dropped him to all three terror camps where he underwent training. According to the dossier, Naveed was trained in using grid references on maps, GPS plotting , night training and jungle marches. While making no mention of any Army or ISI officials, the dossier said that the 17 Pakistanis involved in the same were ‘professional trainers’ in field craft and indoctrination through sermons on Jihad and perceived atrocities in Palestine and Kashmir. The dossier also mentioned that Naveed was a habitual gambler, lost 30,000 Pakistani rupees once and was fond of cricket and watched matches during the 2015 World Cup. He was once taken to a Ghulam Mohammad Abad police station in 2014 for gambling and but no charges were filed by police official Baksh Ali.
