MUMBAI: IIM Ranchi’s 2013-15 PGDM and PGDHRM batches have completed final placements with an average salary of Rs 13.4 lakh and Rs 12.6 lakh respectively. Three international offers were made with the highest international package standing at Rs 55 lakh. Around 14 lateral offers were made. A total of 150 students participated from the PGDM batch and 42 students from the PGDHRM batch. Some 106 companies visited the campus for PGDM and 30 companies for PGDHRM. In the PGDM batch, 24% bagged general management roles; 25% went to consulting and analytics, 16% to finance and 15% to sales and marketing. Recruiters included Tata Steel, Daimler India, RPG Group, Deloitte, Becton Dickinson, Maruti Suzuki, JP Morgan Chase, Standard Chartered, ICICI Bank. First-timers included Hewlett-Packard, Future Group and Bajaj Corp. Being the only IIM to offer a dedicated HR course, IIM Ranchi saw a good run in the HR placements as well. Roles were offered by the likes of L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Samsung Research India, BPCL, Sun Pharmaceuticals, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.
