A recent study conducted by Bangor University suggests that individuals who strictly followed lockdown rules during the pandemic are now experiencing worse mental health outcomes. The study found that people with a caring and sensitive personality type were more likely to adhere to protocols, while those with independent and competitive personalities were less likely to follow guidelines. The research also revealed that strict adherence to lockdown measures was linked to increased stress, anxiety, and depression.
