The West Bengal government has issued Zomato a GST demand of Rs 17.7 crore for alleged non-payment on delivery charges from April 2021 to March 2022. Zomato plans to contest this order, claiming it has adhered to tax regulations and will present relevant documents and judicial precedents in its defense.
