In a fast-paced political development in Bihar, ‘tainted’ RJD minister Kartik Kumar resigned on Wednesday, hours after being shifted from law department to the rather low-profile sugarcane department amid row over his alleged involvement in a criminal case. Chief minister Nitish Kumar accepted his resignation and forwarded it to governor Phagu Chauhan.
