Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the Conference of Parties (CoP) 21 climate summit that started in Paris on Monday. While Modi pledged to ensure development would be coupled with environmental protection, Obama said India had to be able to grow and fight poverty.
