Delhi Police has imposed Section 144 throughout the national capital as a precautionary measure in response to the farmers’ Delhi Chalo March. The order prohibits public processions, gatherings, and various activities for a duration of one month. Vehicles carrying people or weapons are not allowed to enter Delhi, and carrying dangerous items in public places is prohibited. Loudspeakers without permission are banned, and spreading provocative messages is illegal. However, the order does not apply to government-organized events. The order will be effective from 12th February to 12th March 2024.
