Study finds what delays justice in lower courts

According to a new study issues such as judges’ absence, repeated adjournments and courts refusing to simplify processes add to judicial delay. The study was conducted by IIM Calcutta . It found that on an average, it took over 122 weeks, for a litigant to get a judgment.
