Over 8 years after the historic annexation of Crimea, Russia on Friday formally added four more Ukrainian territories under Moscow’s rule where referendums were held recently. Russian President Vladimir Putin presided over a ceremony at the Kremlin to annex Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine.
