Director Srijit Mukherji is in a state of total shock after hearing the news of celebrated singer KK’s untimely death. For the unversed, KK and Gulzar reunited for Srijit’s upcoming Hindi film ‘Sherdil’ as the gifted singer sang a song penned by Gulzar for the film. KK’s film playback career started with the legendary Gulzar when he lent his voice to the memorable track ‘Chhod Aaye Hum Woh Galiyaan’ composed by Vishal Bhardwaj for the 1996 film ‘Maachis’, also directed by Gulzar.
