The film industry is on the back foot again. After cinema halls were directed to work at 50 per cent capacity, and night shows were cancelled due to the night curfew, there is yet another issue that will set them back further. A weekend lockdown that comes into effect from Friday 8 pm to Monday 7 am, obliterates any chance for releases hoping to see some footfalls over the weekend in order to recover their investments.
