Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria starrer revenge drama ‘Marjaavaan’ has opened to a decent box office collection on its first day at the box office. According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, early estimate suggests that it collected approximately Rs 6.50-7 crore nett on day one.Despite mixed reviews ‘Marjaavaan’ seems to have struck a chord with the audience. The report stated that the film received a positive response in Maharashtra, Gujarat, CP Berar, Nizam, UP and Bihar. However ‘Marjaavaan’ didn’t earn well at big multiplex chains and metros, but smaller multiplexes and single screens have earned well in mass circuits.
